Vasileios Karatzenis
Founder
Born and raised in Greece and Switzerland, Vasileios Karatzenis has 20 years of investment expertise as a wealth manager at PaineWebber in Boston, Merrill Lynch in London, UBS in Geneva, and then Pictet & Cie in Geneva and London.
Throughout his career, Vasileios has advised ultra-high net worth individuals and large single-family offices around the world.
Vasileios’ passion for investments, nurturing talent, and connecting inspiring minds led him to start VDK Capital in 2020.
A graduate of the Institut Florimont in Geneva with a French Baccalaureate in Economics, and Boston College in Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Marta Brime
Legal counsel
Marta has over 15 years experience as a Spanish legal expert, having founded Brime & Seoane Law Firm in Madrid in 2009, and Be Legal & Corporate Advisors in 2012 in London. During this time, she has been advising corporates and individuals with legal issues in both the Spanish and English jurisdictions. Marta is also a trustee and active member of the CRIS CANCER FOUNDATION UK.
Marta´s role in VDK Capital will be to provide legal advice on corporate and business matters and to help develop the organisation’s overall mission with concrete and measurable plans that have quantifiable business outcomes and definitive societal impact.
Marta earned a law degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master’s degree in financial markets from the IEB in Madrid.
